Thursday was the first day of school for my kids, and although I realize that my kids are going back earlier than most, the first day of school will be here sooner than later for the rest. In order to get ready for the first day of school I decided that I would search for really creative DIY, do it yourself, projects that would be fun to do for the first day of school. Here’s what I found.
Art Supply Pouch:
by Chez Beeper BeBe : Really cool technique used on this project.
Schultuete School Cones
by The Mother Huddle: A wonderful gift for your children for the first day of school.
Duct Tape Lunch Bag
by Art Duck-O – My daughter would love the neon colors on this bag.
Paper Covered Pencils
by Design Sponge – I love these. They could be cute teacher’s gifts as well!
Locker Pencil Holder
by Make and Takes – My daughter saw this and immediately wanted to make one for her locker!

Great links. Cute stuff. Now…how to create a way to travel in the time space continuum.
Love the Duct Tape lunch bag. Might have to make some of these.
