Twitter and Sticky Notes

Back in the olden days I used to write down thoughts that I'd like to expand upon on sticky notes.  I used to have sticky notes all over my desk.  Though I found that once I wrote a thought down on the sticky note, I rarely felt the need to expand upon that thought again.

Now I don't use sticky notes any more.  I don't like the mess.  And it's just not green, ya know?  But I still feel the need to get these random thoughts out of my head.  And rather than driving my family crazy with these random thoughts constantly being verbally expressed to them, I've discovered an easy substitute for the sticky note.

Twitter!

It was the perfect solution for a girl like me whose brain never stops ticking.  Thoughts like

Are now shortened to 140 characters and posted for the world to see on my Twitter stream.   Sure perhaps the edit of the never-published sticky note might have been a good thing for this wordy girl.  On the other hand, why waste what you're given.  Right?

So what do you think?

They are for me.
